24th Annual Chili Cook Off
Contestants:
• 8 QUARTS OF CHILI, needs to be delivered to Peeper’s NO later than Noon (12pm) on Saturday, October 7th. We really need at least 8 quarts (2 gallons), or everyone cannot test and vote for your Chili. Unfortunately, it can affect who wins
• You must include a printed ingredients list with your entry. Amounts need not be written; this is for allergy and health board reasons.
• You will receive one free ticket for tasting/voting per entry.
Winning chilis will be determined by the public voting for 4 different categories:
o Original
o Unique Recipe- chicken, white, or make it your own! The sky’s the limit in this category!
o Authentic Style- classic red sauce with meat, beans, and spices
o Vegetarian- meatless recipe, original style, or authentic recipe. THE IDENTITY OF EACH ENTRY WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS!
Tickets for the Chili Cook-Off are $10/each, with the money donated to the Kelleys Island Volunteer Fire Department. Each ticket gets you two trips for tasting. Please, NO sharing with someone else. *We are raising money. Chinese Raffles and 50/50 will be available as well.
