Sandy Beach House is the best location on Kelleys Island for direct public beach access! Walk out our front door and down a small hill to one of the most beautiful beaches the state has to offer. We are also just steps away from the world famous Glacial Grooves, the North Shore Loop Hiking Trail, and the public boat ramp.
Our home is a piece of Kelleys Island history. It was built by quarryman Elko Sennish, who came directly from Hungary to Kelleys Island in 1885. He and his wife, Ella, went on to build a boarding house, acquire the Stoll Winery, and build a saloon at what is now the corner of Division Street and Titus Road. They were an integral part of the quarrying community on the island’s north side. We are very fortunate and humbled to be the current caretakers of such an amazing piece of island history. We invite you and your family to make your own island history as our guests.
Our 4-bedroom home sleeps eight (including children); we provide all bed linens. We have two full baths on the first floor, and a half-bath on the second floor; we provide all towels. Our fully appointed kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals (although you won’t want to miss dining at a KI eatery, our personal favorite being the Kelleys Island Wine Co.). A washer and dryer are also on site.
Upscale, modern furnishings balance the warmth and comfort of leather furniture, warm lighting, and the beauty of original hardwood flooring. But it just might be our wrap-around porch that is the guest favorite. We also offer an outdoor propane grill, fire pit, and room to park a boat trailer. Whatever the occasion, we hope that you will allow our home to play a role in your family’s summer adventures and memory-making!
Rates
Weekly: $2800, May-September (please contact us for weekend availability prior to Memorial
Day and after Labor Day)
Security Deposit: $500 due with contract to secure rental dates
Cancellation Policy: Security deposit will be returned only upon rental of canceled reservation

Direction: From Kelleys Island Ferry travel west on E. Lakeshore Drive. Turn right (north) on
Division Street and follow Division Street to 845. Sandy Beach House will be on your left.
